Hartzler Dairy dates back to the early 1950s, when Harold and Patricia Hartzler started farming in Ohio. They raised eight children on the family farm. Almost forty years later, Harold and his children discussed the idea that later became Hartzler Family Dairy, Inc. They purchased another property where the milk processing plant that is still used today was built. Some years later, the Hartzlers opened their first store at the front of the milk processing plant. Today, two of Harold and Patricia’s sons remain the owners of this family-centered business. Grandpa Hartzler, as many people called him, was a traditional and old-fashioned gentleman. He built the company under the philosophy of “as nature intended”; so they provide wholesome, healthy, tasty products, that are minimally processed and non-GMO verified. Their modern website contrasts with their vintage graphic design, and displays big pictures of their delicious products; milk, flavoured milks, butter, cheese and ice cream.
