For more than a century, the history of Valade & Transandine has been driven by two passions: discovery and transmission. They are a French company dedicated entirely to wines. And not only from France; their 650 wine offer comes from 130 estates in 25 different countries, and the team is always hunting for more treasures.
It was in 1858, in the heart of Bordeaux, that the epic of the company began with Pierre Valade bottling Port wines. His establishments persisted through the centuries and became distributors of other wines to expand their range. Among their main suppliers was Transandine, a company that specialised in the import of wines from Latin America. These two companies were bought by Jean-Luc Soubie, a curious local man raised in the middle of the vines. He was the one who formed Valade & Transandine, and then decided to travel the vineyards of the whole world. Today, the company’s team constantly travels the globe, meeting winegrowers and tasting their wines on site, to then bring back exceptional bottles to professionals in France. Thanks to its vast Bordeaux cellars, Valade & Transandine benefits from being anchored in the heart of one of the most renowned wine regions in the world. Its strategic location allows it to deliver wines within 24 to 72 hours throughout France.
