The Glass House is a historic site located in Connecticut, owned and operated by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. It was built between 1949 and 1995 by architect Philip Johnson in almost 20 hectares of a beautiful landscape with other thirteen structures. The house features a permanent collection of 20th-century painting and sculpture, along with temporary exhibitions, serving as a catalyst for the preservation and interpretation of modern architecture, landscape and art, and as a canvas for inspiration and experimentation. Tours are available with previous bookings, as well as rental as a venue for private and corporate events.
