Amstein is an independent, small business that makes playful bags (and some other goods, too). Based in a bright, south London studio, their pieces are designed and developed by founder Laura Amstein (who comes from a background in luxury leather goods, previously working for amazing brands such as Loewe, JW Anderson and Bburberry). Simplifying and reducing, Amstein follows a slow, small scale, thoughtful path. Choosing quality over quantity, designs are released one at a time. Bags are made in small batches; to help estimate how many to make and avoid over producing, orders open up before production starts.
